Engineering Physics Program

Program Chair: Rafael Perez, MSc., P.E.,

Engineering discipline that focus on the scientific and experimental Physics methods, to be applied for the analysis, design and developing of engineering solutions in diverse fields such as industry, medicine, metrology, geophysics, renewable energy, among other application fields. Engineering physics applies electrical, electronic, chemistry and mechanical methods, following a proper scientific analysis, to propose coherent solutions with engineering criteria.

Engineering Physics includes the following specialization areas:

  • Physics techniques for industry
  • Metrology
  • Renewable energy
  • Electronics for engineering
  • Electromagnetism for engineering
  • Nanotechnology
