The Program Assessment Committee and the Specialized Advisory Board meet every year or as often as necessary, but also have continuous contact through informal meetings and electronic mail. The last two official meetings were held in years 2018 and 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Industrial Advisory Board provides to the Program recommendations and advice on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Program mission and vision statements.<\/li>\n<li>Pertinence, sufficiency and applicability of Program Educational Objectives and Student Outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Market and workplace trends and opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Future directions of the Program.<\/li>\n<li>Student performance feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Potential curriculum modifications.<\/li>\n<li>Program and university facilities and services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The current Board consists of the following members:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pedro Volver MSc, PP<br \/>\nPrincipal Researcher<br \/>\nNational Institute of Geophysics<br \/>\nRecognized research institute in the country<\/li>\n<li>Jorge Fanor, MSc, PP<br \/>\nMagnetic Resonance Laboratory Manager<br \/>\nNational Institute of Neoplastic Diseases<br \/>\nMain hospital and research center on neoplastic diseases<\/li>\n<li>Antonio Juarez, MSc, PP<br \/>\nMetrology Center<br \/>\nSouthern Peru Copper Corporation<br \/>\nOne of biggest copper mining company in the country<\/li>\n<li>Lucas Rodriguez, MSc, PP<br \/>\nProject Manager<br \/>\nIPEN, Peruvian Institute of Nuclear Energy<\/li>\n<li>Jesus Mendoza, MSc, PC<br \/>\nResearcher<br \/>\nMicrowave Research Department<br \/>\nINICTEL, National Institute of Research and Training in Telecommunications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"su-divider su-divider-style-default\" style=\"margin:15px 0;border-width:3px;border-color:#999999\"><a href=\"#\" style=\"color:#999999\">Go to top<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Physics Program has a Specialized Advisory Board composed by practitioner physicists with recognized professional experience.
